For author Stephen Chinlund, an Episcopal priest, a former prison warden, and a former chairman of the New York State Commission of Correction, he has a different story to tell. For almost five decades, Chinlund had worked with men and women locked up inside to help them find freedom within themselves even if they are in prison. He also helped them after being released back into the community. This book is his means of presenting and sharing to the world the real stories and life experiences of those prisoners, staff, and politicians he had worked with for over forty-five years.
